Hiking Again! Nakoa Trail

This past weekend (I guess its already been about a week) we went and hiked around Kahana Valley. It was so quiet and peaceful and lovely! We got to cross little streams. We didn't think about bringing bathing suits for some reason, but there were some fun looking rope swings!

I've always wanted to hike there. Kahana is so beautiful it's my favorite place on the whole island.

Anna! What a cool blog. I didn't know that you had one either! And you're pregnant?! That's so great. It looks like everything is going well back in Laie. I'm glad to have a way now to see how life is treating you.

these pictures are amazing! I have never really been out to hike in Hawaii. Sometimes I see your adventures and wonder if we live on two different islands=)

Anna it's great to hear from you! I love your earthy photos. I miss Hawaii's scenery and we hope to visit there someday as Matt's never been there. How did you meet your husband? What are you up to? We're both going to school and our daughter Caribou has more spunk and smiles than I could imagine, and Matt and I are keeping up in the artist collective, Canoe Music,... we're not getting much sleep, but we are pretty happy. Keep posting the photographs!

What gorgeous pictures. You certainly do make the best of life with all your adventures. Thanks for bringing us along....we can enjoy it and we don't have the mosquitos. But then again we don't have our toes in that water either...

Thanks for sharing your love for life! Were the mosquitoes getting you? I was a little concerned that you might be up in the tree.
love, mom

Okay your pregnant belly walking through the water has to be one of my favorite shots ever. Then you post more pictures. I loved every minute of being pregnant. I hope you are loving it because you look absolutely radiant!
